This week’s Daily Theme Challenge is Fast Food. Here’s my entry for Monday.

Made with Monaco mercerized cotton thread. I’ll be turning this into a pendant.
Also, to the folks who suggested themes, thank you all so much! Sorry for announcing themes so late. Anyways, next theme is Mango. I’m still taking suggestions, so suggest away!

Since I need a reason to crochet as often as possible (mostly for therapeutic purposes), and I’m still too much of a crochet noob to join community craft challenges, I decided to challenge myself.
The Daily Treat Challenge requires me to make at least one amigurumi treat a day, while following a set theme for the week. The challenge runs every Monday to Friday. This challenge is primarily for myself, but anyone’s free to join. I’ll be adding my challenge entries to Pretty Oddity’s product line. Other participants can do whatever they want with their entries.
I started the Daily Treat Challenge last Monday, and the theme was Strawberry Cakes. Here’s what I came up with. All are to be posted soon at Pretty Oddity. As necklace pendants. Or bag charms.
I already have an idea for next week’s theme, but feel free to suggest! Squeeee!

Pretty Oddity had its first bazaar last week. Sales were horrible, but we got excellent exposure, so it was all good. And we really didn’t expect to make a lot of sales anyways, so we all just had fun and pigged out (making us lose even more money, but that’s fine).
Here are some photos.

Para Maiba (Filipino for
to be different) is a brand of graphic design totes. Each tote bag is one of a kind. While the same print may appear on another Para Maiba tote, it won’t be in the same color, nor on the same bag style, so no two totes are alike. They’re roomy and sturdy enough to store laptops, extra clothes, and pretty much anything you can chuck in your handbag. They’re great as gifts as well.
Coming very soon at Pretty Oddity!

The Eyeshield 21 manga is over.

The ending is actually pretty satisfying. Even though I know I can always re-read the manga, it’s still a little sad to see it end. I’ve come to treat the Deimon Devil Bats and the rest of the teams in these series like buddies who I’d watch out for and support. So this kinda feels like saying goodbye to really good friends who have to leave and move on. Even though you’ll still get to see each other and talk, like most goodbyes, this one feels a little painful.
I’ll miss these guys. I’ll miss them a lot.
