I’m craving for everything. I want grilled salmon panini, pork floss crepe, spanakopita, and crème brûlée gelato. And while I’m dreaming, I want coconut shrimp, eggplant parmegiana, and mango cheesecake. Possibly together.
As usual, I took out my dietary frustrations on some thread and my trusty crochet hook. For someone who’s into Japanese arts and crafts, I haven’t made anything Japanese-y, so I made futomaki (太巻き). I also made my first ever crocheted earrings. *cheers*

Now I want okonomiyaki and gyros. Who delivers?

It’s what it looks like. I’m designing sites again. Not Multiply, though. I’m currently working on my sister’s blog and a proper online shop for Pretty Oddity. I’m also updating and constructing my portfolio, which will tentatively be called, surprise, surprise, Project Prettify. The folks who know about the blip I made at Multiply would know about Project Prettify and the ginormous impression it left. It’s a lucky name, and I’m not letting it go just yet.
Speaking of portfolios, I’m rather liking dA’s new Portfolio Feature. It’s a lot like Carbonmade, only better. They’re doing a lot of great things for their users, so I think they deserve a lot of thanks. And cake. Nine of them.

Wishing dA a wonderful 9th birthday. Back to work with me.

I was craving for cookies a few days ago, so I went on a cookie-making frenzy. With crochet thread, my favorite ingredient (not really). Anyways, I still want the real ones, but the crafting did help a lot. Also, I did write the patterns this time, so I can make more! Woot!

Mint and Strawberry Cream-filled Chocolate Cookies.

Oreo Cookie

Blueberry and Strawberry Dodgers
Made these while listening to Vienna Teng and enjoying vanilla tea. Ooh, the bliss.

When I once called my flab a tumor, I wasn’t being serious. Now some idiots are actually suggesting chemotherapy to eliminate fat. What the hell, don’t these jerks realize that chemotherapy has horrible side effects? I, for one, won’t go through that crap for smooth curves that I can get (and keep) through diet and exercise. I’m still overweight, but it’s been working wonders for me. And look, it’s non-toxic!.
So screw it. I’ll enjoy my blueberry cheesecake. Here, have some.

Some people have been wondering what exactly I crochet, in terms of functionality. The folks who bought my stuff can do whatever they want with them. But this is what I do.

In other news, I’m active in dA again. And I can’t believe I completely missed this:

Awesome photography by Zoltan Tischler. Look at the timing, the lighting, and the symmetry on that thing. I bet the cleaners love him.
