2009 did horrible shit to a lot of people. But I made it in one piece, and most of my loved ones did as well. Whether you call it God’s Grace or an insane amount of luck, my loved ones and I had it. I have more than enough reason to be thankful. I can carry on with my plans for my wedding, my business, and other shit I intend to accomplish within this lifetime. I just have to stay alive this year and the year after this one.
Plus I’ve got these kids. How can I possibly not want to live longer?

I survived 2009. I should put that on a shirt.
Oh, and this entry has no linking verbs. I am awesome.
Doh.

Pretty Oddity had its first bazaar last week. Sales were horrible, but we got excellent exposure, so it was all good. And we really didn’t expect to make a lot of sales anyways, so we all just had fun and pigged out (making us lose even more money, but that’s fine).
Here are some photos.

Not mine. The kids’! They have officially finished Preschool. They still a long way to go, but just the same, I’m very proud of them. As I always am.

For my birthday, I took the kids to Timezone. My Gold Card Holder status allowed me one whole hour of free games (for select games). The free games weren’t the ones the kids usually played, but the kids had fun. We even discovered some games the kids actually really like and do intend to play next time we go to Timezone. We also discovered how little motion sick Connor loves carousels.

My brother got married last week, February 4. He also turned 27 that day.
The wedding was held at the Terrazas de Punta Fuego resort in Nasugbu, Batangas. It was a nice, intimate, family-only affair by the sea. Made me wonder where my wedding would be. My sister had hers in a garden-like environment. My brother had his in a beach. I suddenly imagine mine being in the mountains. That way, the wedding would have to be family-only event, as I or anyone else would not want to deal with the logistical nightmare of having my entourage trek all the way to my wedding, hanging on to shrubbery for dear life.
I’ll go on and imagine my epic wedding now. But first I will post some wedding photos.
